You know it's funny... I didn't start my Passion Parties business knowing what I wanted. I started off knowing what I didn't want! I was 16 when I had my oldest son (the boy on the right). I strived to give him everything I felt he deserved. I finished school, went on to college, got a great job...everything was perfect. The only problem was...I missed my son! I worked so hard, I didn't have time to enroll him into sports...the daycare helped him with his homework. Most days he was the last little boy picked up from daycare.
Emotionally I was a wreck! I was torn between needing to provide for him and wanting to be the mom who took him on field trips and football games. It kept playing in the back of my mind...kids remember moments, they easily forget the "things" you give them. Oooh, it was killing me!
I knew I had to make motherhood a priority... I was NEVER going to do it again. I had to figure out a way to get what we needed and what I wanted. Having two more boys made my desire for change an immediate need. The saying is soooo true... you will keep getting what you are getting if you keep doing what you are doing!
