| I am married almost 13 years, and am the mother of 2. I have been an ER nurse for 16 years, so the human body and all of its many parts is no stranger to me. It's no secret that nursing is a physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding career. And like so many others, I began to experience the dreaded "burn-out" - from the exhausting hours (12hr shifts that became 16hrs more often than not) all day on my feet, sometimes too busy to eat, and too little time and energy when I got home to be of any real use to my family. That's when I realized I needed to do something that would allow me the freedom to set my own hours and take control of my life while affording me the opportunity to achieve financial independence and success. |
